A fantastic word-pun that really only works in Konglish, Beertiful is a beautiful beer pub with gloriously shameless interior and a cozy rooftop in the heart of Mangwon.
The beer selection is also on the premium side, their fridges are filled with good picks from breweries like Omnipollo and Brouwerij de Molen as well as bigger players like Stone and Ballast Point. A couple of Korean beers are also available on tap, and why on Earth would you not want them served in a gargantuan stemmed glass?
The interior of Beertiful looks like an 80s porno set, and has a surprisingly large variety of seating options, with floor seating, a classic bar, outdoor camping stools and a lounge. Both on tap and in bottles and cans there are regular, premium and rare beers from near and far (very far), covering most price and taste ranges. Craft beer enthusiasts will definitely find something interesting here, but there are also regular thirst-quenching beers, even drinks and cocktails to be had.
Mangwon is a little outside the core of Seoul, but located right near the subway station, Beertiful is very easy to get to. In addition to the usual cosmetic shops, fried chicken and convenience stores, the area is also home to a great variety of tiny craft stores, cafes, bars and interesting restaurants. Well worth a trip!
